Trevor C. Duke is a new filmmaker and recent graduate of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. While there, he attended the Los Angeles Film Studies Center (LAFSC) program. "Torn" is his first short film since college and his first collaboration with Mikel J. Wisler. Originally shot as a student project, "Torn" was then reedited, sound mixed, and color corrected in preparation for submission to film festivals and distribution.


Trevor currently lives in Quincy, Massachusetts and collaborates on new projects with Wisler.

Mikel’s awards and recognitions include:

-Winner of Best Short Film at the 2011 Vegas Media Xpo for “Evaluating Kaitly.”

-Winner of Best Screenplay at the 2009 Terror Film Festival for “Cold October."

-Winner of 2007 Cinephile Film Arts Grant for the short film “Cellar Door."

-Nominated for Best Horror Short Film at 2009 ShockerFest for “Cold October." 

Mikel J. Wisler is an award winning filmmaker. Four of the short films Mikel has produced have played in several film festivals and three have secured international distribution through various companies. 

Mikel has worked on feature films in various crew capacities. Most notably, he was the 1st Assistant Director for the independent feature film, Silk Trees. He went on to cut the trailer for the film and become the final polishingeditor for Silk Trees, helping reshape the story and pacing of the finished film. Mikel is currently an Associate Producer for the VFX-heavy feature film, The Legend of Oak Swamp & the Mysteries of Ironwood.

Mikel has a B.A. in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Writing, Theatre, and Cinematography and a B.A. in Philosophy from Bethel College, Indiana. He also attended the Los Angeles Film Studies Center (LAFSC) in 2003. Mikel was born in Brazil, South America, where he spent most of his childhood. He is married to Danae K. Wisler and lives in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Mikel is currently in development for his first feature film as director, After This.
